It all started in 1998 when a friend asked me to join her in a three week stained glass course. The only thing I knew about it to that point was how beautiful it looked in church windows. I agreed and in the first class I was introduced to the concert of stained glass. It was intense but I was immediately hooked.

I took to this craft like a duck in water.  My instructor, a glass worker for over 20 years, picked me to be an intern in his shop. I worked hard to learn and loved it.  He was amazed at my progress and kept pushing me to do more and more.

After a year with him and the other two workers in his shop, I helped complete 3 huge, beautiful stained glass master pieces. I then created a garage studio and began creating works on my own. I was told I was ready to have my own shop, which I opened in 2001. Unfortunately I broke my wrist in 2003 and had to close its doors but I never gave up working with stained glass. Recently, I have decided it’s time to open a shop and start teaching again.  I will never lose the desire to show people the beauty of stained glass and teach them the process of this craft.
